2022 CONFERENCE DEMORAPHICS
The Diversity in Healthcare Conference was attended by a diverse population with many aspiring to get into different professions in healthcare.

However, better recruitment of more minorities like Hispanic groups might be something worth looking into.
Students of all years attended this conference at similar rates (~15%) although third years were highest in attendance (25%) (Refer to Figure 2).
Those of different economic backgrounds (Refer to Figure 3) and races (Refer to Figure 4) are participants in this conference. It is also somewhat representative of the demographic makeup of 2022 Penn State -
Main Campus where White students makeup 61%, followed by Hispanic/Latino (8%), Black (4%), Asian (7%), and Multiracial (3%) (Data USA, 2022).

Sexuality was another important measure as the conference discusses topics relating to LGBTQ+and gender equity. Having participants that identify as a part of that group can ensure a morefair representation of the information being presented and discussed (Refer to Figure 5). For the coming years, rounding up more of those in the LGBTQ+ community would be ideal.
